A SCENE FROM A STREET IN LA

a scripted feature film exploring the intersecting lives of Angelenos navigating loss, and loneliness in the shadow of a looming apocalypse.

SSLA marks my first narrative feature, and it comes from the ’90s Robert Rodriguez school of thought: if no one’s handing you the keys, you build the damn car. The truth is, nobody is knocking on my door to make the kind of long-form, gut-punch dramatic storytelling I love—so I said, fuck it. I picked up a camera, strapped sound gear to my belt, and with the help of some absolutely incredible actor friends—plus a few non-actors making their film debut who know these streets firsthand—we owned this city, and for $15K we shot guerrilla-style across L.A.
So this film is written, directed, produced, shot, and edited, by yours truly and is my love letter to the streets I call home. Each story is built to reflect our collective struggle—a city and shared psyche caught between unexpected loss and the hunt for meaning to it all.

In the final stages of color & sound mix, with a larger TV and Vertical Series in the works… Enjoy some stills and watch for the Trailer coming Soon!
